Summer fun with a French accent!information-icon
L’été avec un petit accent français!
Speak French and enjoy the fun of an overnight summer camp on a private island.

Find a little bit of France in the San Juan Islands at this Northwest Washington sleepover summer camp. Campers, ages 9-16, take part in a unique mix of French language and culture through artistic and outdoor activities.  Fencing, archery, sailing, kayaking, swimming, photography, marine biology, and French culture, cuisine and language are options every day. With only 40 campers on the island, you can choose your own experience - artistic and theatrical, adventuresome and athletic - or any combination.  Days are filled with new friends and exciting activities, all with a French flair.

Surrounded by sparkling blue water of Puget Sound, this wooded paradise is waiting for you to explore its mile of shoreline, mossy promontories, and secluded beaches. dock_jumping_cropped Make a masque fantastique for a masquerade ball, bake a tarte aux pommes, rapelle down to the ocean's edge, kayak to an island beach or beachcomb along the shores.

With only four campers and a counselor per tipi you will enjoy close camaraderie with your tipi mates. Campers often return year after year to see the friends they have made at camp.  Your counselors, many of whom are from France or other Francophone countries, will share their culture, food, and history with you.  Take home memories of new friends and experiences you won't ever forget.

Families can experience all the fun of summer camp at Family Camp. This residential camp is conveniently located in the San Juan Islands of Washington between Seattle and Vancouver, BC and very near Victoria, BC, Canada.

"She said it’s the most wonderful time she has ever had — and she has experienced great overseas trips and vacations.

She told me a couple weeks ago, when I picked her up from school “I think about French camp every day”.
